The Morning Tour

We toured Amsterdam thoroughly! By bus, by boat, by foot and by bus again. I remember Amsterdam as a fairly compact city, but our tours criss crossed back and forth so the city seemed to be much larger than I know it to be. Of  necessity  we only had tasters. Clearly there are some very interesting museums and galleries here. We shall have a free day here at the end of the week, so I will go back to the flower market to buy some bulbs. I don’t think I will queue for either the Rijtmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum and definitely not the Anne Frank House. All those three had queues 2 and three hours long.image

Returning to the ship we were greeted with warm hand towels and peach tea!

We love Amsterdam – sounds like you are already having a great time. Lovely that the trip over was easier – such a nice start!
